As another school year draws to a close, a reminder for those graduating:

• Academic Records will begin mailing diplomas approximately two weeks after graduation.
• Diplomas and transcripts require financial clearance from SFS.
  • Account balances will need to be paid in full.
  • Exit counseling will need to be completed for any federal loans borrowed.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid opened on December 31 for the 2024-25 aid year. Returning students may notice that the FAFSA is usually available on October 1. The launch has been delayed this year because there are major changes and improvements being made to the FAFSA. Federal Student Aid may occasionally pause access to the 2024-25 FAFSA form to perform maintenance and improve user experience. This December launch date will apply only to the 2024-25 FAFSA.

The changes to the FAFSA form include:

• expanded eligibility for federal student aid
• a more streamlined application process
• new terms and processes

  • domestic wires available for $20 wire fee
