Morning Song Music, a Christian record label, is in its eighth year of
taking a first class Christmas variety concert on the road to some of
the nations finest performance venues, churches and convention centers
around the nation.
This year’s tour, "The Angels Sang", will stop in 8 cities from December 6 to December 23 and is in concert at the Howard Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 Adults – $15 Terrace – $10 Students (All Students Qualify - not just Andrews University) and can be purchased at the Howard Performing Arts Center - 888.467.6442 or 269.471.3560. This inspiring evening of music features four of Christian music’s
premier vocalists headed by Steve Darmody, president of Morning Song
Music and winner of the Estes Park National Talent Competitions in
1988. Jennifer LaMountain, soprano, and Rudy Micelli, tenor, each have
successful international solo gospel ministries and have appeared on
numerous television programs across the nation. This years special
guest is and outstanding alto, Angela Bryant-Brown, from Washington DC.
Each of their powerful solo ministries blend together to form a
two-hour seamless production of duets, solos and choruses.
Steve Darmody, the president of Morning Song Music, has been serving
Christ through his concert ministry since 1980. His smooth baritone
voice masters a range of musical styles from inspirational to the best
in adult contemporary and jazz. Steve has produced seven CDs and
ministered around the globe. His Christmas CD continues to be a holiday
classic on many Christian radio stations.
Rudy Micelli is an artist with great talent and a deep love for Christ.
This Brazilian tenor has been singing from coast to coast since he came
to the U.S. seven years ago. He has been a dynamic part of the Morning
Song National Christmas Tour for three years and is an important part
of the Morning Song Music family.
Jennifer LaMountain’s powerful soprano voice welcomes in the Christmas
season with songs such as Carol of the Bells and Glory to God. Her
performances in major halls, including the Crystal Cathedral and the
Manhattan Center, and her appearances on religious television and
worldwide satellite programs have inspired listeners around the globe.
Angela Bryant-Brown has grown in her ministry through the years in
various kinds of worship services, retreats, touring choral groups,
weddings and solo concerts. She is now pursuing ministry full time and
is the newest addition to Morning Song’s 2007 Christmas Tour line-up.
This season’s Christmas tour will feature spine-tingling group
performances; a powerhouse duet with Steve and Rudy of "In All of His
Glory"; The Prayer, a beloved duet featuring Jennifer and Rudy; and
classic Christmas favorites.
